Building Strong Foundations for Focused Fitness Results

Nothing great is built on weak foundations!

Do any of these apply to you?

  • You feel nervous or intimidated when approaching the weights area in the gym (or even thinking about it).
  • You feel you are weaker than you should be.
  • You get regular injuries.
  • You are unable to fully control your body (ie can you flex individual muscles in your body at will?)
  • You want to burn fat, but your ability to sustain a high level of output is poor.
  • You want to sculpt your physique, but don’t know where to start.
  • You want to make physical progress and start exercising, but the discomfort of high intensity exercise is off-putting.
  • You’d like to hire a personal trainer or coach, but time commitments of the financial requirements are currently beyond you.
  • You understand the benefits of resistance training but find it boring.
  • You currently lift weights but feel you have plateaued or have become frustrated at your lack of progress.

The more you are capable of, the more you can achieve.

It doesn’t matter what the goal is, if it is physical then a strong, well balance, structure is the key to making the most of your efforts.

It is a common mantra that big compound movements are the key to optimal development in the gym. But that only has any merit if they can be executed properly.

These sessions aim to teach you to connect with your body in a manner that most gym goers neglect.

We will teach you to control your movements.

You develop increased strength in all elements of the focused movement patterns. This will ensure weak points are addressed allowing for greater progress than would otherwise be possible.

Your confidence in resistance-based training will improve.

And your potential for output, in all forms, will increase.

Just some of the benefits of these sessions:

  • Improved confidence both in and out of the gym.
  • Improved discipline and character.
  • Increased output in all areas of focus:
    • Burn more fat
    • Build more muscle
    • Find completing tasks in general more easy
    • Improved cognitive function
  • Lower risk of injury
  • Greater true strength gains
  • Reduced imbalances in the body
  • Reduced risk of long-term osteoporosis and other bone & joint issues

Consider the foundations of a building. They are in the ground. No one sees them. They are not very glamorous and it’s not the part of the building anyone cares about. But without them you can’t build a strong structure. And without a strong structure you have nothing to wrap the ‘sexy’ finishes around.

Most people exercise in an attempt to achieve improvements that are surface level (bigger muscles; lower body fat; sculpted abs etc). But by trying to develop those areas without strong foundations, you risk injury, burn-out and general failure.

Strong physical foundations allow for a lifetime of progress. Without them, any improvements you do make will be short lived or sub-optimal.

I’ve really started to notice the difference the glute and hamstring work, from the Strength Sessions, recently. Even in my running, my posture is better and it takes a lot longer before fatigue sets in. This was obviously a weak area previously, but the difference, after some consistent focus, has been huge.
